Steve is a principal in the Tax Department and focuses on estate planning, gifts and trusts. He has received the professional designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP). Steve joined the firm in 1984 after seven years with other public accounting firms. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former president of the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council and a member of the Sparrow Foundation Planned Giving Committee.
