Tim is a principal in the Tax Department and is often consulted on issues related to closely held and family owned businesses. He provides business valuation services and consults on business purchases, acquisitions, representation of clients with tax authorities, and sales and use taxes. Tim graduated in 1986 from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Business Appraisers. Additionally, he is a member of the firm's Manufacturing and Distribution Solutions Committee.
